Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Adams offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 1, lines 3 - 6: Delete all material. Insert a new bill section to read: "* Section 1. REPORTS BY THE ALASKA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATION. By the effective date of this Act, the Alaska Science and Technology Foundation shall submit reports to the governor and to the legislature concerning the following: (1) the minimum length of time reasonably necessary to wind up its current affairs preparatory to discontinuance of the foundation's existence; and (2) the amount of money in the foundation's funds, including the Alaska science and technology endowment (AS37.17.020), the BIDCO fund (AS37.17.210), and any other money, that could be returned to the general fund after termination of the foundation." Senator Adams moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Senator Frank objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 2 be adopted?"
